Christmas Recipes - Fruit Cake Cookies October 24, 2007

FRUIT CAKE COOKIES (excellent)

1 c. brown sugar

2 sticks butter

3 eggs

1 tsp. soda

2 tablespoons vanilla

6 c. pecans, chopped

3 c. sifted cake flour

1 lb. candied pineapple

1 lb. candied cherries

1 lb. pitted chopped dates

12 oz. white raisins

Add first three ingredients then add a little bit at a time. Drop by

teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

Cool before storing.
