Christmas Recipes – Christmas Log Filling December 9, 2006

Christmas Log Filling

1 egg white
6 tablespoons cream
One-quarter ounce of gelatin
2 teaspoons milk
One-half teaspoon vanilla
6 ounces castor sugar
1-teaspoon rum

Whip the egg white stiffly, and combine gently with the whipped cream.

Soak the gelatin in barely enough water to cover it, and then dissolve it in 2 teaspoons of lukewarm milk.

When cool, add it with the vanilla, sugar and rum to the egg cream mixture.
